Things to do whilst Self Isolating

Netflix Binge

I know that this is an obvious one and as the saying goes "if it ain't broke don't fix it" maybe you can rewatch love is blind for the 23rd time or start a completely new series or film in order to pass the time or to procrastinate whilst working from home.

Bored games

Old fashion board games are perfect for these types of situations. one girl, I knew from sixth form created a M.A.C Cosmetics monopoly board and if that isn't dedication to the cause I don't know what is.

Tidying

Well you've got nowhere to go so you really don't have an excuse not to get your room looking like it could be photographed Architectural Digest.

Job Searching

if you're not happy where you are this is the perfect time for you to polish your CV and seeing what other potential jobs might be a better fit.

Online Browse

I wouldn't be me without spending at least an hour and a half adding and deleting clothes from my cart so I feel that I have bought something without actually buying something.

Read a book
Self Explanatory.

Photo Wall Review

Last week I was contacted by Photowall a Swedish wall art company that kindly offered to send me a print to review as I'm always looking to surround myself and fill my home (well my bedroom) with beautiful photos or inspirational quotes luckily Photowall has plenty of prints to chose from not only that they also have wallpapers, canvases and posters which range from world maps to Star wars in addition to this you can have your own photos printed which is also something I am passionate about as I am big on photography.

The print I chose is called A Beautiful Thing which reminds me of a letter you would write to someone you love to encourage them that beauty is only skin deep and that the most beautiful things in life are complicated and flawed.

Here is what you need to know
The print is by Flower Love Child
You can purchase it as a framed print, canvas or poster with the size and frame easily customizable which also comes pre-assembled, who doesn't love that?
My print arrived within 2 days and I am super pleased with the quality as well as the customer service and I'm not the only one who think so, just check out the reviews on trust pilot.

If you're in the market for some beautiful prints and inspirational quotes then I highly suggest that you check photo wall out by clicking the link to photowall
and for 25% off use the code bethanyclaire2020 which is valid from the 13 March to 13 April

New York and Things nobody tells you

This October I was lucky enough to get the chance to visit a city I had only seen in movies, for as long as I can remember, it has been one of my dreams to visit the big apple and as soon as I touched down at JFK airport I felt a massive lump in my throat because I was finally there, the cab ride to the hotel was exhilarating maybe because it was completely foreign to me and once I stopped grinning like a Cheshire cat, we arrived at the hotel, where I fell asleep instantly 6 hours in a cramped chair is no joke

Day 1

Brooklyn Bridge
After getting off the subway we ventured to Brooklyn bridge which was a beautiful path way on one side and a bicycle death trap on the other filled with generic I heart New York trinkets

Statue of Liberty
Seeing her an all her glory was a truly humbling sight to behold but a little smaller then I imagined but still magnificent

Ellis Island
In interesting but I wouldn't eat there again, well maybe not when its German week as food poisoning is not how i saw that day ending

Century 21
One of my best best purchases on this trip is my new beloved Calvin Klein aviator jacket

Day 2

The Vessel
I am a very clumsy person so a structure made up entirely of stairs is not exactly my bag to I only got half way up

High Line
Is built on an historic freight line which I now covered in foliage and beautiful art installations but make to you have sensible shoes on because is a loooong walk

Frozen
My mom is obsessed with frozen and it warmed my heart to see how much she enjoyed the performance and when the actors game out after the show to support charitable causes

Panda Express
I've been back for a while and the thought of eating this again makes me salivate like homer does when he thinks about doughnuts.

Day 3

Bow Bridge
This bridge made the 6 hour flight and the months I spent saving a thousand pounds worth it I dreamt about standing on that bridge for almost to decade i practically sprinted to it

Times Square
Busy but not as busy as I  thought it would be and everybody loves taking their iconic pictures on the big red steps
