New York and Things nobody tells you

This October I was lucky enough to get the chance to visit a city I had only seen in movies, for as long as I can remember, it has been one of my dreams to visit the big apple and as soon as I touched down at JFK airport I felt a massive lump in my throat because I was finally there, the cab ride to the hotel was exhilarating maybe because it was completely foreign to me and once I stopped grinning like a Cheshire cat, we arrived at the hotel, where I fell asleep instantly 6 hours in a cramped chair is no joke

Day 1

Brooklyn Bridge
After getting off the subway we ventured to Brooklyn bridge which was a beautiful path way on one side and a bicycle death trap on the other filled with generic I heart New York trinkets

Statue of Liberty
Seeing her an all her glory was a truly humbling sight to behold but a little smaller then I imagined but still magnificent

Ellis Island
In interesting but I wouldn't eat there again, well maybe not when its German week as food poisoning is not how i saw that day ending

Century 21
One of my best best purchases on this trip is my new beloved Calvin Klein aviator jacket

Day 2

The Vessel
I am a very clumsy person so a structure made up entirely of stairs is not exactly my bag to I only got half way up

High Line
Is built on an historic freight line which I now covered in foliage and beautiful art installations but make to you have sensible shoes on because is a loooong walk

Frozen
My mom is obsessed with frozen and it warmed my heart to see how much she enjoyed the performance and when the actors game out after the show to support charitable causes

Panda Express
I've been back for a while and the thought of eating this again makes me salivate like homer does when he thinks about doughnuts.

Day 3

Bow Bridge
This bridge made the 6 hour flight and the months I spent saving a thousand pounds worth it I dreamt about standing on that bridge for almost to decade i practically sprinted to it

Times Square
Busy but not as busy as I  thought it would be and everybody loves taking their iconic pictures on the big red steps
